Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data ColorSea Styling Pvt. Ltd. (“ColorSea”, “we”) collects through colorsea.fit, why we collect it, and your rights. It is written to align with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and, where applicable, the GDPR. This is a template - have it reviewed by legal counsel before launch.

Information we collect

• Contact details you give us: name, email address, and (optionally) WhatsApp number.
• Quiz responses: your answers about undertone, hair, eyes, contrast, occasions, and the colour season we estimate.
• Photos (selfies) you choose to upload for AI colour analysis.
• Technical data: IP address and referrer, used for security, rate-limiting, and basic analytics.

How we use it

• To analyse your colouring and prepare your personal colour report.
• To match you with a stylist and contact you (by email or WhatsApp, with your consent) about your report and styling.
• To protect the service from spam and abuse.

Your photos

If you upload a selfie, the image is sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to estimate your colour-analysis dimensions, and stored securely so your matched stylist can confirm your season. We do not publish your photos or use them to train models. You can ask us to delete your photo and data at any time (see below). Selfies are retained only as long as needed to deliver and confirm your styling, and are deleted on request.

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors to run the service: Cloudflare (hosting, storage, security), OpenAI (photo analysis), and Resend (email). We do not sell your personal data.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, and withdraw consent for WhatsApp or email contact, by emailing us. We will respond within the timelines required by applicable law.
